We used Matt for our first home purchase recently. He was extremely knowledgable about everything from the neighborhoods to the roof & siding to noticing things we wouldn't as first time buyers. We came from out of state so w only had one day to find a house while in town. He took an entire day to show us allllll over the Atlanta suburbs, even areas he normally wouldn't show houses in. When we kept not finding what we were looking for, he sat down on his laptop and found more that he thought we'd like. And low and behold, we bought one of those houses that wasn't even on our original list! He came prepared and in the end that got us a house. He was upfront during the entire process, helped us with everything since we were out of state, including coming here multiple times for us, and even came to closing with a gift! I'd recommend anyone and everyone to him. For a first house, this process was mostly smooth sailing which i wasn't expecting. While I didn't work with Matthew ultimately, (the co-owner of the house had another agent she wanted to work with), I felt compelled to write a review because of how thorough, attentive, committed and knowledgeable Matthew was in the steps leading up to listing a house. Case in point -- in his first visit of the house, to do a market analysis, he was the only realtor out of several that took time to note each and every area for improvement and take pictures. While this sounds typical, every other realtor just did the bare minimum -- you could tell Matthew really put time and effort into catching everything that could be improved. I also wanted to work with him because of how detailed his marketing strategy was -- he told me about a digital staging software he used to make pictures of an empty house, look like a fully staged home, he told me about his photography skills and editing software to enhance pictures of the house, he told me about all the digital cookie tracking he did, it was just so comprehensive. Most importantly, he also quoted us the highest selling price of any realtor, with a listing price guarantee. Overall, if you have the opportunity to work with Matthew, do it! He's such a conscientious realtor and someone who definitely goes the extra mile!
