West Cobb County Real Estate is relatively affordable. Residents enjoy plenty of shopping and dining options at the Town Center Mall area. It is also the home to the Kennesaw Battlefield park where hikers can climb to the top of the “mountain” for a spectacular view with plenty of interesting Civil War history along the way. It’s a nice walk and a great view at the top; but those who come from places with real Mountains like Colorado will literally laugh at the fact that it’s called a mountain. It’s more of a hill by their standards. Still, it’s a nice place to visit and the walk to the top can be good exercise and recreation. Part (not all) of West Cobb is a bit far from a major highway; which can cause a longer commute time to some locations; but it’s a trade off since when looking at real estate in Cobb County, one will certainly get more homo for the money in this area than in many other parts of Cobb. Plus, many of the public schools are fairly good in that area; so many home buyers seek it out because of the larger and nicer homes that they can afford, great local shopping, good schools and a good combination of suburban conveniences while still having plenty of trees and a semi-rural feel.
