Intown Atlanta Neighborhood - Ansley Park

Ansley Park is an affluent residential neighborhood in Atlanta just adjacent to Piedmont Park. The 2008 median household income for the neighborhood was $226,335. The neighborhood was constructed between 1904 and 1930 and is one of the first neighborhoods in Atlanta that was designed for cars. Many homes were built with garages and driveways. Homes in this neighborhood are generally larger square footage and on larger lots than some other in-town neighborhoods.

Ansley Park has wide and winding streets with landscaped medians and neighborhood park areas throughout. In addition, it is walking distance from the largest city park in Atlanta, Piedmont Park and walking distance to Midtown. It is not uncommon to forget that you are in the city when you enter Ansley Park due to the suburban feel of the streetscape and large lots that the homes sit on. You will be surprised to see the urban center of Midtown in the very nearby backdrop to such beautiful homes and quiet streets.
